Indian Head Massage
Indian Head Massage has been performed for thousands of years and is still widely renowned for being highly therapeutic, relaxing and invigorating all at the same time. Using a mixture of Swedish and Indian massage moves, the treatment is performed either sat or led down.
The massage includes treating the upper back, neck, scalp and face. It’s important to be aware that oil is used for this massage, which means you may well leave with oily hair and some of your make-up removed.

How Often Should I Have An Indian Head Massage?
It’s different for every client, some people like to have it as a treat every few months whereas others benefit from it as regularly as once a week. The choice is yours, as your therapist I will advise what would be the best course of treatments for you during our consultation.
What Should I Expect When I Have An Indian Head Massage?
You will initially have a consultation to discuss your health and lifestyle to establish what you can hope to achieve from the treatment. Your therapist will then leave the room to allow you to get undressed.
Indian Head Massage is ideal for those who are uncomfortable with little clothing on as it only requires removing your top/shirt. For ladies, your bra can remain on and you only need to drop the straps down. You will be left with a towel to wrap around yourself as if you were getting out of the shower. You will then take a seat in the chair and your therapist will start to perform the treatment. The whole process takes approximately 45 minutes.
It is recommended that you remove any make up before the treatment. It is also advised that you don’t “go out” straight after the treatment due to the oils involved. If you are, then I suggest you bring some face wipes, hair brush and a hair band with you.
